1. Application & Features
1.1 Application
TQSF series gravity de-stoner is an important cleaning machine in flourmill, it performs to:
 Separate stones, sand and light impurity from cereal after the pre-cleaning & 1st
cleaning section.
 Select and clean for seeds and other grains.
It is also applied for:
 Classifying, eliminating and de-stoning in rice mill, corn, soybean, paddy, rye plant etc
But this machine requires great air, it is better for the user to assemble a special air
system.

3. Construction
 The machine body A is secured to the base K by means of two sets of steel helical
springs B at back and adjustable supporting rod C in front.
 2 vibrating motors L are anchored to the cross member of the machine body. The
motors run in opposite directions, thus can drive the body to vibrate in to-and-fro line.
 The inlet pipe D is supported with the control board hanging on the support rod M, on
the top the inlet pipe D connects with air spouting, at the bottom it connects to material
intake square E.
 The material intake square E is right below of the inlet pipe D, and anchored on the
machine body, there is an allotting chute assembled with adjustable spring to control
the material stream, a plexiglas inspection window F is equipped on the intake square
E for checking the material status inside.
 The top casing G with four inspection windows is fixed on the machine body, the air
intake pipe H is connected to top casing G with hose, inside of the air intake pipe H,
there is a air butterfly valve gate with a hand wheel to adjust it.
 The base K supports the machine body A, the support rod M backs the air intake pipe
H and inlet pipe D, and anchors to the base.
 In the machine body A, there is two stacks of sieve frame N and O, for top sieve frame,
there are sections, it is steel wire network type for 1st section frame, rectangle-hole
perforated type sieve for 2nd section round-hole perforated type sieve for 3rd section.
 The top frame N is for classifying material, after that the material is discharged, and
light impurity is drawn out through air tube.
 The bottom frame O is for eliminating sand, mud etc impurities, the over impurities are
discharged from stone outlet, the through impurities is discharged directly.

4. Working Principle
The materials fall onto the allotting chute F via inlet pipe, thanks to the action of vibration,
the materials cover the full sieve length. Under the combine action of vibration and air flow,
the material on top sieve frame classify automatically. The light material become the over
of sieve, and discharge via the tail of frame, the lighter ones like shuck and dust are taken
away together with air.
The heavy material, stone and sand fall onto the bottom frame, and under the combine
action of vibration, air flow and friction, the material, sand and stone move to the tail or
head, which help to classify, then material is discharged via frame tail, sand and stone
move to head of frame, and the broken stone is the sieve through.
You can check the inside status through the inspection window, and the stones and mud
separated are discharged through outlet G, the heavy material is discharged trough outlet
H, light material is discharged through outlet J.
5. Mount & Testing
5.1 Mount
This series machine need to be mounted on the floor without vibration occurred, and in
front of the machine a space over 1000mm should be left for assembling and
disassembling sieve frames, and at back a space over 700mm should be left for
maintaining machine.
For mounting the machine, please refer to the drawings attached.
To lift the machine, the eyebolts provided on the machine body for securing it. After
positioning the machine, remove the anchoring brackets at the place of helical springs,
and keep the machine in horizontal level, then anchor the machine to the floor with the
screws provided. Then connect the inlet pipe and outlet pipe, and assemble the stone
collecting box.
Assemble rubber hose at the two outlets, and clip the pipe with clamping screw to ensure
the smooth running of material and the air-tightness of machine. At the top of machine
clamping strap should be equipped for the air pipe flanges.
For the electrical connection, this must be done by electrician strictly according to the
wiring diagram.
And the two vibrating motors should start at the same time, and one can’t work if another
one is turned off, and there should be earth wire connected to the machine.
5.2 Testing
Several adjustments should be done before starting up the machine:

 Adjust the material intake adjusting gate in the intake square to control the material
stream and uniformity.
 Adjust the gate adjusting hand wheel for air flow adjusting gate to control the air
suction.
 Adjust the supporting rod of machine body to change the inclination of screen.
 Adjust the stone holding sheet to control the discharging action.
 For doing the above, please follow the below:
 Adjust the finger of adjusting knob for air flow adjustment butterfly valve to “6”,and
adjust the stone holding sheet to the bottom, and before doing this, make the screen
inclined to 70
 Start the air system to check if it can work smoothly or not.
 Start the machine, after smooth running, feed-in and adjust the material intake
adjusting gate until the material stream is even and the arrive the half level of the
plexiglass window, after few minutes stone can be found on the stone holding sheet,
then raise the sheet to normal place for discharging stone, if no discharging acted
when raising the sheet, please adjust the front support rod to make small inclination of
screen. If there is stone in the material discharged, please increase air flow.
 For the ratio between heavy material and light material, it is different according to
different air flow, the greater the air flow is, the bigger the light material stream is,
otherwise you need to replace the 2nd and 3rd sieve frame of top frame to meet the
requirement like the above.
6. Starting up & Stopping
When stopping the machine, please follow the order:
Stop feeding—turn off the power—stop the air system
When starting the machine, please follow the opposite order.

7. Adjustment of Working Angle & Vibration Amplitude
7.1 Working Angle
With the machine working, loosen the locking knob of the vibration amplitude and working
angle checking plate, then turn the disc until the two discs are in the same straight line,
then lock the disc and at this time the disc must line up with the reference screw at a
position of approximately 300
7.2 Vibration Amplitude
With the machine working, the stroke kept by the measuring lines when the circular plates
are in right position should be the actual amplitude reading, normally it is 4-5mm, if want to
change the amplitude, please adjust the balance weight of the vibration motor.
Note: The balance weights of the two vibrating motor should be set to the same position,
and locked tightly.
8. Maintenance & Accident Prevision
8.1 Maintenance
 Clean the screen once a week to clear the screen mesh. Please use special purpose
spanner to assemble or disassemble the sieve frame. With compressed air or still
brush to clean the screen, don’t use the rubber or metal hammers to clean the sieves.
Please replace the sieve at once if any wear occurred. The sieve cloth should be
stretching evenly on the frame.
 Lubricate the bearing of vibrating motor every three months. And please check if there
is loosen of each knob and bolts, especially the connection bolts of motor.
8.2 Accident Prevision

 With machine working, if there is any chaos vibration, please check the speed of the
two motor, check the centrifugal weight and the helical spring, adjusting rod or rubber
strap etc.
 If the de-stoning action is not good, check the air adjustment gate and the stone
holding sheet and feeding action. If one helical spring is broken, please replace both
the springs.
 If not working for long time, please put the machine in dry place, and when
transporting, please assemble the safety unit of the machine.
