Talking about Locations of Things and People

Yaşadığımız şehirdeki insanların, nesnelerin veya şehirde bulunan mekânların yerlerini tarif ederken ya da
nerede olduklarını sormamız gerektiğinde kullanılan basit ve belirli kalıplar vardır. Adres sorarken ya da bir yerin
tarif edilmesini isterken farklı olsalar da aynı anlama gelen birkaç alternatif yapı kullanılır.

Asking for directions:

• Where is the post office? (Postane nerede?)
• Excuse me, where is the library? (Affedersiniz, kütüphane nerede?)
• How can I get to the airport? (Havaalanına nasıl gidebilirim / ulaşabilirim?)
• How can I go to the restaurant? (Restorana nasıl gidebilirim?)
• Is there a restaurant near here? (Yakınlarda bir restoran var mı?)
• Can you tell me the way to the hospital? (Bana hastaneye giden yolu tarif eder misin?)

Bir süreç tarifi şeklinde yapılan anlatımlar her zaman daha etkilidir ve karşımızdakinin aradığı yeri daha kolay bulmasını sağlar.
Yönlendirme yapıldıktan sonra konumlandırma yapmak, aranan adresin kesinlikle daha kolay bulunmasını sağlayacaktır.
