JOINT APPLICATION FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE

The accused, by counsel, respectfully applies for the imposition of


community service in lieu of service in jail, pursuant to the provisions of
Republic Act No. 1362 (RA 11362) and A.M No. 20-06-14-SC (guidelines in
the Imposition of Community Service as Penalty).

In support of this Application, accused states:

1. Accused-applicants CARMEN GUERRERO, MARICON


TAGATAC, LUZVIMINDA LEAÑO,PRISCILA LAGADON are all
of legal age and residing at Claveria, Cagayan and JOHAIMA
VELANCIO is also of legal age and residing at Nangalingan,
Baggao, Cagayan . On November 23, 2021, all the accused
pleaded guilty of the crime of VIOLATION OF R.A. 11332 and
sentenced by this Honorable Court to suffer the penalty of arresto
menor.

2. Accused-applicants submits that they we’re not previously availed


of the benefits of the community service program that this court
may deem fit for them and undergo rehabilitative counselling.

3. Accused-applicants are all physically able and willing to comply


with the terms of the community service program that this court
may deem fit for them and undergo rehabilitative counselling.

4. That the grant of their application will not depreciate the gravity of
the crime charged nor cause any undue risk that during the period
of community service, accused-applicants will commit another
crime.

WHEREFORE, premises considered, it is most respectfully


prayed of this Honorable Court that the Application for Community
Service be approved.

Other reliefs just and equitable in the premises are likewise


sought.
