Financial Statement Version (FSV)for IBSC

Financial Statement version is helps to prepare the income statement and Balance sheet in
structured format, for the reporting purpose.

It contains 20 hierarchy levels, each hierarchy level called as financial statement item. In the
lower level we assign the GL Accounts.

You can also define multiple financial statement versions to generate financial statements in
different formats. Follow the steps given below to create financial statement versions –

 SPRO → SAP Reference IMG → Financial Accounting → General Ledger Accounting →


Business Transactions → Closing → Document → Define Financial Statement Versions →
Execute.

Click the New Entries Button Shown below-


Provide the following details −

 Enter the Fin. Stmt. Version.

 Enter the Description of the financial statement version.

 Maint Language − Enter the language key in which you display texts, enter texts, and
print statement.

 Item Keys auto − It tells keys of financial statement items are assigned manually or
automatically when the financial statement versions are defined.

 Charts of Accounts − All accounts from this chart of accounts COA can be assigned
when you define the financial statement. If you do not specify a chart of accounts,
accounts from several charts of accounts can be assigned when you define the
financial statement.

Save it first.

Then click on

Now click on and then click on

Enter the details as shown below and press enter buttion.


Screen will Appear as shown below

Double click on Profit & Loss Account and fill the details as shown below.
Press Enter.

Now double click on Balance Sheet Account and enter the details as shown below.

Press Enter.

Now click on and then click on

And fill up the details as shown below.

Press Enter Button

Click on and then Click on


Press Enter.

Now Double Click on

Fill up the Details as shown below.

Press Enter.

Now Double Click on and fill up the details as shown below.


Press Enter.

Now Double Click on and fill up the details as Shown below.

Press Enter.

Now Double Click on and fill up the details as shown below.


Press Enter.

Now we have to assign the G/L account hence follow the below steps.

Click on and then click on

Then assign the G/L accounts as shown below.

Press Enter.

Then Expense Account G/L Assignments appears as shown below.


Now Click on and then click on

Press Enter

Then Expense Account G/L Assignments appears as shown below.


Now Click on and then Click on

Press Enter.

Then Expense Account G/L Assignments appears as shown below.


Now Click on and then Click on

Press Enter.

Then Expense Account G/L Assignments appears as shown below.


Press Enter

Now Save It.

Fill up the details as shown below and execute it
