PROJECT PROPOSAL

IV. SOURCE OF FUND : Appropriation of Senior Citizens Fund
V. BACKGROUND/RATIONALE :
The Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has already caused an immense
impact to the country. Aside from the apparent adverse effects of the pandemic to health and safety, it
has also ensued economic slowdown as evidence by the increased unemployment rate, disrupted
transport, among others, which greatly affect the vulnerable sectors including the Senior Citizens.
Section 3 of Proclamation No. 929, s. 2020, enjoins all government agencies and LGU to
render full assistance to and cooperation with each other and mobilizes the necessary resources to
undertake critical, urgent and appropriate disaster response aid and measures in a timely manner to
curtail and eliminate the threat of COVID-19.
As part of the response to the threat of COVID-19 pandemic, it is hereby proposed the
realignment of the Senior Citizen Fund from Poblacion Norte, San Clemente, Tarlac for Health &
Food Assistance Project to provide Health & Food Assistance to the Senior Citizen Members of
Barangay POBLACION NORTE.

VI. OBJECTIVES : This project aims to:

a. To provide health and wellness assistance to the Senior Citizen members.

b. To provide food assistance to the Senior Citizen members

1. 362 SARDINES (P20.00) P 7,240.00
2. 362 NOODLES (P8.25) 2,986.00
3. 7 Boxes FACE MASK (P80.00) 560.00

TOTAL P 10,786.50

TRANSPORTATION 500.00

VIII. RECOMMENDATION:
In view here of, we would like to ask assistance to defray the expenses that could be incurred
in the realization of this project. In this regard, we would also want to ask the release of Senior Citizen
Fund as working budget for this program.
