Dear Sir
Upon learning of your search for officer cadets to join the BDF I felt compelled to submit the
enclosed resume for your consideration. I am looking to apply my skills and abilities to the
BDF engineering spectrum which may involve not less than maintaining and repairing the
entire BDF equipment thus ensuring that Botswana’s national interests are defended.
My previous experiences have allowed me to develop exceptional skills in programming of
SCADA systems and wiring of Radio Frequency Identification systems which are vital in
military telecommunication structures. I am a hardworking and well-disciplined engineer
looking for the opportunity to be the shield of the nation.
My focus, as an aspiring professional, is to utilize my strengths in being a team player to
make a positive impact on the overall organization. I enjoy gathering, organizing and
analyzing electrical devices and contributing to electrical projects or maintenance. Having
done courses like Artificial intelligence and machine learning I have desires to implement
my knowledge gained there into the use of robotics and drones within the BDF. Projects of
this magnitude can improve engineering technology within the BDF thus reducing old
known methods or devices.
