This communication serves as a confirmation that as a lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology,
Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST), I have known and worked closely with
Mr. Alfred during his BEng Measurement & Instrumentation Engineering studies.

Mr. Modise is self-motivated, a team player and has a good technical competency in both software and hardware
development. He performs his duties with little supervision. His final year project was to design a smart shower
management system, which he completed successfully.

He was attached to Botswana International University of Science and technology for a period of six (6)
months during his work integrated learning (industrial attachment) where he was exposed to real-world problem
solving; applying theory to real systems, which he also successfully completed.
