❖ Lack of knowledge about commerce at school level tend to choose the course as
survivor to obtain degree.
❖ Improper motivation from the teachers / institutions is one such drawback why
students are not ready to choose career even in their final year of course.
❖ Unpopularity of commerce at competitive examinations
❖ content is given more weight age than practical which must be rectified with the aid
of seminars, workshops by industry experts and teaching using technologies.
❖ Students area of interest is chosen with the ease of the subject not with their
knowledge about the subject.
