What We Offer.
Nike’s generous employee benefits package ranks among our greatest perks. In fact, here’s
how our US benefits stack up against other Fortune 500 companies:
Medical, life insurance and disability plans are all above the 80th percentile of
competitor companies.
Our time-off plans are ranked #1 when compared to our competitor companies.
Unlike most of our comparator companies, Nike has kept its discounted stock
purchase plan with a full 15 percent discount and look-back period.
Our competitive benefit program provides employees with the opportunity to stay fit, ensure
the wellness of their families, and create a positive working environment. That is why every
region provides for variable medical coverage, a performance sharing plan, fitness center
memberships, time off, retirement, and more.
Benefits
Health, Life & Disability Coverage
Employees can choose from a variety of health plans provided by Nike, which include
competitive packages for medical, dental and vision coverage. If you have coverage
elsewhere, you can opt out of Nike medical coverage. In addition to your medical coverage,
Nike believes in preventative care, which is why many full time employees are provided
access to on-campus gym memberships or nearby facilities.
Full-time US employees are automatically covered by basic life insurance starting on their
first day of work. You can also purchase additional coverage for yourself, for your spouse or
permanent partner, and children. In addition to basic life insurance plans, Nike WHQ offers
employees short and long-term disability coverage, and accidental death and dismemberment
insurance. Other regions may have similar coverage options for both life and disability
insurance; further information will be provided at the time of hire.
Benefits
Retirement
Nike offers a highly competitive retirement plan. Retirement plans vary by geographic
region. A detailed summary of all of the ways in which employees can save for retirement is
provided during our on-boarding process. But here are some specifics regarding the U.S.

limited to 1.5 times your annual accrual amount. Once time is accrued, it can be used for
vacations, sick time, or other personal reasons. The accrual amount is based on length of Nike
service.
