OmicrinVarient in COVIND-19virus was first found in South Africa at the beginning of

this November. The World Health Organization (WHO)WHO was immediately


informed of the existence of this virus and categorized it into the group of “variant of
concern”. On November 26, they designated the variant B.1.1.529.

On November 24, scientists found the mutation of this virus and it caused the WHO’s
concern since the mutations variant can help to evade the body’s immune response
and make it more transmissible, based on the scientists’ findings.

Doctors have found the symptoms of this virus such as headaches, body pain and a
slight sore throat. The common symptoms of this virus include cough, fatigue and
running note, according the WHO.

As of December 5, 2021, there have found more than 107000 cases and five countries
accounted for 86% cases reported.

Although Omicron variant is found to be contagious and spreading to all over the
world, there are not many severe cases that should be hospitalized so far. WHO and
scientists are continuing look at this problem and try to solve it.

so far over 57 countries across different regions of the world have found the 1000
Omicron cases. More than 70 countries have imposed travel bans that mainly targets
South African countries.
