REFLECTIVE JOURNAL READING
According to (Ageing, Older Persons and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development; Section 5) Around the world,

countries are seeing an increase in the proportion of citizens aged 60 and over. Economically, population aging is

accompanied by a decline in productivity and an increase in public spending. Part of this increase in government spending is

related to the provision of institutional care for the elderly and other health services. Aging can have profound effects on all

areas of society, including the labor market, financial systems and health; participate in political decisions; demand for goods

and services; urban planning and infrastructure development; as well as family structure and intergenerational relationships.

To ensure progress in implementing the SDGs, it is essential to prepare for the economic and social transitions associated

with aging and aging, and to ensure that the necessary conditions are created to enable people to older adults live self-

determined, healthy and productive lives and empower them to exercise their right to make decisions and choices in all

aspects of their lives. Therefore, a policy and fundamental attitude change on aging and aging is needed to reflect and

promote the contributions of the elderly to society. Instead of focusing on the negative aspects of aging, public debate and

policy should promote older people and their abilities as a solution to many development challenges. Reaching older people

and overcoming gender marginalization and discrimination requires an integrated and multi-dimensional approach, including

sensitization of power structures, investment in public education, anti-discrimination enforcement and persuading benefits to

society if the elderly are included in the development process.

Older adults are important members of any society and therefore

have the right to live dignified lives later in life. In addition, older

people have the skills, knowledge and experience to continue

making productive contributions to society, as the expected

increase in the number of older adults in the coming decades is

seen is a valuable resource for all companies. Older members of our

family often experience wars and difficult times and are a source of

inspiration for younger families. The story of their adversity, or simply

navigating life over a long period of time, helps children understand

that life can be navigated through determination and effort. Equally

important, older families can often assume the role of mentor,

encouraging and inspiring younger children to pursue their dreams.

When parent-child relationships are difficult, grandparents can be

an extension of the unconditional love of the family. That's why we

need to take good care of them so they can live peacefully in the

last moments they had with us. And remember that one day we will

experience the things they experienced with us.
