KINGDOM SEASON 1

This movie is more on battle for power between the powerful clan and the prince with a different reason.
Unlike with the powerful clan who only wants to stay in power and fame to do the dark work, the prince
who’s unqualified because of his mother was a concubine wanted to survive and to know what his father
truthful state. The season has started with Seo-bi and Yeong-shin’s recommendation to chop off every
infected people’s head, resulting in a night of chaos as the dead arise. When the Prince takes power and
ordered the killing of the zombie bodies, the yangbans leave on the remaining boat, taking their stuff and
the body of a beloved son who’s infected. The season concludes with Queen Cho claiming regent of the
unoccupied kingdom as well as declaring a lockdown of the South, while Lord Cho Hak-ju arrives at
Gyeongsang's gate with the Army and the dead King. On the other hand, Lord Ahn Hyeon and the Prince
strengthen Sangju against by the zombies, while Seo-bi and Cho Beom-pal investigate the Frozen Valley,
learning about the zombie disease's roots.
It is amazing how the author played my mind even that she let me wonder where and when this plague
was really started. Kingdom is not based on true story, this was just an imagination of the writer but the
settings and how they dressed up are well searched by the author, this movie tells the story of Crown
Prince Lee Chang who becomes embroiled in a political conspiracy and is forced to embark upon a
mission to investigate the spread of a mysterious undead plague that has beset the current emperor and the
country's southern provinces. That’s why somehow, I realize why the title is Kingdom, and I figure it out
that those people seek for this to rule.
To be honest. I am looking forward to see how far can this movie can go since the author as well the
actors deserve to be known for their excellent performance.
