Q.8 Explain why speed is important for survival in the


grasslands for animals that live there. (Hint: There are few
trees or places for animals to hide in grasslands habitats).

Ans. Importance of speed for animals: Since there are few


trees and hiding places in grasslands. So in order to run away
and save themselves from predators they need more speed for
which nature has provided them with long and strong legs, long
ears and eyes on the sides to help them look on all sides.
