PROVIDENT FUND AND PENSION

ONLINE WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURE


Requirements that a member should satisfy for online claims:

• UAN should have been activated and the mobile number used for activating the UAN should
be active.
• Member’s AADHAAR details should be updated and verified in UAN Portal.
• Bank account along with IFSC code should be seeded in UAN Portal.
• PAN is a must if the Service is less than 5 years.
• Date of Joining should be displayed in the UAN Portal.
• Date of Exit from the company should be updated and displayed in the UAN Portal.
• Claim can be submitted only after 2 months from Date of Exit.
• Member should not working presently.

If anyone of the above conditions is not satisfied then the online claims wont be allowed.
Please log-in your UAN at https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in
Check your KYC

• Click on the tab ‘Manage’ and select KYC to check your KYC details i.e. Aadhaar, PAN and bank a/c.
details are correct and verified.
Online Services:

• Click on the tab ‘Online Services’ and select the option ‘Claim’ form the dropdown menu.
Proceed For Online Claim:

• The ‘Claim’ screen will display the member details, KYC and other service details.
• Click on the tab ‘Proceed For Online Claim’ to submit your claim form.
• Under the tab ‘I Want To Apply For’ please select the claim i.e. Provident Fund
withdrawal (Form -19) and Pension withdrawal (Form-10C).
Note:
• If the member is not eligible for any of the services like PF withdrawal or Pension withdrawal,
due to the service criteria, then that option will not be shown in the drop-down menu.
• PF and Pension withdrawal tab appears only if the date of joining and date of exit is updated
by Employer.
• Members total service should be more than 6 months and less than 9.5 years to apply for
Pension withdrawal. Otherwise, the pension withdrawal option will not be shown in the
drop-down menu.
Verify Bank Account Number:

• Under the tab ‘Bank Account Number’ please verify the last 4 digits of bank account number.
PF Withdrawal Process:

• Select the withdrawal type Form-19 (Provident Fund withdrawal).


Tax deduction on PF withdrawal:

• If member service is less than five years and verified PAN details are not available in the Unified
portal, Income tax would be deducted at the highest rate of 34.6%, if settlement amount more
than Rs. 50,000/-
Address details to be filled in:

• Member address details to be filled in, post selecting PF Withdrawal (Form-19) and click on “Get
Aadhar OTP”.
Validate the OTP and “Submit Claim Form”:
Acknowledgement:

• Member will receive an acknowledgement.


• On receipt of the ack. EPFO will directly credit the amount in the bank a/c as per UAN.
Pension Withdrawal Process:

• Member to select Pension withdrawal type Form-10 C.


Address details to be filled in:

• Member address details to be filled in, post selecting Pension withdrawal (Form-10C) and click on
“Get Aadhar OTP”.
Validate the OTP and “Submit Claim Form”:
Acknowledgement:

• Member will receive an acknowledgement.


• On receipt of the ack. EPFO will directly credit the amount in the bank a/c as per UAN.
