WRITING AN ESSAY
Goal:
Your task is to create a persuasive essay about the virtual/ distant learning during the Covid-19
pandemic. You have to take a stand about the opening or not of face to face classes.

Role:
In your essay, you have to be the voice of young learners about your situation and
experiences in the virtual/distant learning.

Audience:
You need to convince your teachers, fellow students and school organization.

Situation:
The challenge involves dealing with how you can make a persuading voice as a young
writer.

Product/Performance and Purpose:


You need to develop a well built persuasive essay including your experiences and
thoughts of how the Covid-19 pandemic affected you as a young learner, as well as the difference
between physical learning and virtual learning so that your essay would be more believing and can
persuade more people.

Standards and Criteria for Success:


Your persuasive essay should be passed 3 days after the task was given.
Your work will be judged by your teacher.
Your persuasive essay should be:
- based from personal experiences provided with some facts and currents situations
-specific and clear on what you are trying to pursuade
-observed with good mechanics
