Exemption criterio Final exam exemption is achieved with a year average of at least 85/100, complying with class attendance of at least 80%.
The score for each unit will be the total of the percentages assigned to the aspects that are assessed in each one. The score for the period coincides with the unit score.
Four bimestrial periods will be assessed during the present school year:
80% attendance is required in order to obtain the right to sit examinations.
6.0 is the minimum pass mark.
Each bimester exam is worth 40% of the corresponding bimester period score; the other 60% corresponds to coursework.
Grading system
Bimester score ( CB )* = bimestrial exam ( 25% ) + project (25%) coursework (50% )
Year average CB1 + CB2 + CB3 + CB4

Final score

Final exam exemption is achieved by students who have at least 8.5 in the year average, and minimum 80% attendance record. If the year average is from 8.5 to 9.4, the final score will be 9. Otherwise,
if the year average is from 9.5 or above, the final score will be 10.
In case exemption is not achieved, exams will be presented in the first and/or second round
( PAof) finals.
= The final score will be adjusted in accordance with the UNAM regulations that are published in the
school rules and regulations.
Abbreviations are based on the terms in Spanish and will appear as such on the report cards.
