DEBITEXPRESS BUSINESS SOLUTIONS

October 4, 2021

This day is our first day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. We came in the office very
early because we will have our orientation. This is also the time that we will meet the owner of the
accounting firm, Mr. Ogie Galicia, because he will be the one to conduct the orientation. We’ve discussed
about the rules and regulations in DebitExpress Business Solutions, checking of requirements, and Sir
Ogie gave us little knowledge about what is happening every day inside his office. After the orientation, he
introduced us to his colleagues. After that, Sir Ogie told us to go to one of his clients, the Roxas Market
Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ROMMCO). We meet the manager of ROMMCO, Mr. Jomar Ruga, he
introduced us to the members of the cooperative and we even meet other trainees from other schools.
The first task we did there was to observe in the accounting department.

October 5, 2021

This is our second day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. After our attendance we
immediately go to ROMMCO, today we just observe again what is happening inside a cooperative.

October 6, 2021

This is our third day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. After our attendance we
immediately go to ROMMCO, but today we dont just observe, but we were tasked to file the check
vouchers for reference purposes. It was tiring because there were lots of CV’s haven’t filed yet, and aside
from that we have to arrange them according to the CV number.

October 7, 2021

This is our fourth day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. After our attendance we
immediately go to ROMMCO and continued filing the remaining CV’s we weren’t able to file last week. We
were also tasked to do posting. We posted the accounts from the Journal Vouchers to the General ledger
and to the subsidiary ledger according to the account titles and account numbers. We were glad that we
were tasked to do this job because we were able to use our knowledge in accounting and we were able to
relate on the work we were doing. However, it was a bit challenging when there are times, we weren’t
able to balance it, but we find ways and reviewed it back and fortunately I find where is the problem and
was able to balance it.  After that work, I and my co trainee Elian was tasked to file the Check vouchers
for 2020 for reference purposes. I CAN SAY THAT ACCOUNTING IS EASY IN REAL LIFE than in school
haha.
October 8, 2021

This is our fifth day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. We haven’t asked to do

anything. So, we just chill inside the office. This will be a long weekend after the first week of the OJT.

October 11, 2021

This is our sixth day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. We stayed in the office and Sir
Ogie told us to observe one of his employees while e-Filing of 1601-C for September 2021. e-Filing and
e-Payment/Filing and payment of 1600 (VAT/PT withheld) for September 2021. e-Submission of sales
report using CRM/POS and/or other sales machine with TIN ending in odd number for September 2021.

October 12, 2021

This is our seventh day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. We haven’t asked to do

anything. So, we just chill inside the office.

October 13, 2021

This is our eighth day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. We still stayed in the office
and do some minor stuffs, like photocopying important files of different clients.

October 14, 2021

This is our ninth day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. It’s a busy day. Everyone is
busy in filing. Including us.

October 15, 2021

This is our tenth day in DebitExpress Business Solutions, and the most busy and tiring
day. We continued working on the papers that need to be filed on time.

October 18, 2021

After 2 days of rest, this is our eleventh day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. We
stayed on the office half day, after lunch break, we have been tasked to visit another client’s office and
start to observe. We have fun there since it is a resort.

October 19, 2021

 This is our twelfth day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. We continued observing in
the accounting office of the resort. We are assigned to arrange alphabetically the form 2307 and to find
what the missing ones are. We are also tasked to post the accounts to the subsidiary and general ledger.

October 20, 2021

This is our thirteenth day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. We’ve been asked by sir
Ogie to return to the resort. When we got there, Ma’am Beverly asked us to balance the resort’s
Subsidiary Ledger of September 2021. At first, we weren’t able to balance it but after looking all the
record we find it in the account of accounts payable of August. After that she asked us to file some
documents like CV’s.

October 21, 2021

This is our fourteenth day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. This time, we stayed at
DebitExpress Business Solutions’ office, doing nothing. Because sir Ogie and other staffs have meeting
to attend to.

October 22, 2021

This is our fifteenth day in DebitExpress Business Solutions. We’ve been asked by sir
Ogie to return to the resort. As what we usually do, we filed the CVs for September and October. We also
printed the envelopes of the Admin Employees for their Income Tax Return. Ms. Beverly also taught us
how to do the Bank Reconciliation. I was glad that we can relate of what she’s teaching us because it’s
part of the accounting lessons. It’s another additional knowledge for me.

October 25-29, 2021

This week is so far the easiest week as a trainee. For a week, we just stayed at
DebitExpress Business Solutions’ office. We haven’t done anything because Sir Ogie is attending the
week long PICPA National meeting representing the Southern Tagalog Region. We heard that this
meeting is for the 76th PICPA Annual National Convention.
