5 – Camera interface
No APIM module Present

Compatible with MK8 Transit and Custom vehicles (Euro6.2)

Checks

- System must have the screen above (Fig1)

- The vehicle does NOT have the APIM module, this is located behind the glovebox.
- The vehicle has NO sat nav
- The vehicle has front and rear parking sensors.

APIM module location (Custom)

Please check is there is a module this would be located behind the glove box area to the top right of
the inside of the dash.

If this is not present

Installation

The module needs to be plugged into the Screen and the radio module with LVDS connectors. Run
the cable to under the steering wheel drivers side area.

The T harness connector will plug and play into the Radio module and OE harness.

Run the power cable to under the driver’s side area.

Now connect the Reverse feed.

Y Loom – LVDS connection to screen

Orange – Reverse 12V input

Please remember to connect the Camera input to the yellow Phono (BACK)

Power the camera separately on IGN or reverse gear.

Connections to Vehicle

The reverse feed can be found in the drivers A pillar.

This will need to be measured as there are multiple feeds.

It is the larger wire in the loom.

DIPs on the module – Dip switches 1 and 6 on the On position.
