1.0 Purpose

This Procedure outlines the Acceptance & Rejection Criteria throughout all inspection stages (receiving, in processing and
final inspection stages)

2.0 Scope

This procedure applies to all raw materials, semi-finished and finished prefabricated buildings.

3.0 Policy

It is the policy of the UNIFAB to ensure that all incoming materials, prefabricated components and finished products are
tested and inspected according the approved test procedure and the test and inspection results shall fulfill UNIFAB
specifications.

4.0 PROCEDURE

4.1 Receiving, Inspection, Acceptance or Rejection Criteria

4.1.1 All incoming materials shall be segregated and tested as per inspection & test plan and quality
control plan. (See attached)

4.1.2 The test results shall be recorded on incoming materials inspection report and compared with
Acceptance or Rejection Criteria stated in quality control plan. (See attached)

4.1.3 If the materials fail to meet the Acceptance or Rejection Criteria, Quality Control Inspector shall
raise Product Non conformity Report (PNR) and segregate the material with proper
identification sign.
4.1.4 The QC jointly with Production Manager and Purchase Manager shall decide on disposal of the
non-conformity product/materials.

4.2 In process Inspection, Acceptance or Rejection Criteria

4.2.1 Quality Control Inspector shall inspect and test all fabricated Materials or products as per quality
control plan in.

4.2.2 The test results shall be recorded on prefabricated units’ inspection sheets materials inspection
report and compared with Acceptance or Rejection Criteria stated in quality control plan

4.2.3 The Quality Control Inspector shall segregate the non-conforming products /materials and
consult with Production Engineer for disposal.

 4.2.4 Non-conforming products /materials shall be disposed as per company policy.
4.2.5 Quality Control Inspector shall regularly fill-up prefabricated units’ inspection sheets in each
production stage during the fabrication process.

4.3 Final Inspection, Acceptance or Rejection Criteria

4.3.1 Quality Control Inspector shall perform the final inspection and test on all fabricated Materials or
products before release to client as per quality control plan

4.3.2 The test results shall be recorded on Completed fabricated building Reports and compared with
Acceptance or Rejection Criteria stated in quality control plan

4.3.3 The Quality Control Inspector shall segregate the non-conforming products /materials and
consult with Production Engineer for disposal.
4.3.4 Non-conforming products /materials shall be disposed as per company policy.
