There are various ways to respond to excessive voltage.

0: Function deactivated
1: Warning F.425 is issued for overvoltage

2.4 Brake
P.180 [Hz] Activating the brake The brake is activated when the travel frequency specified in the

) Parameters P.180 and P.181 work in parallel. The function

whose condition is first met is executed.

P.185 [Hz] Deactivating the brake The brake is deactivated when the travel frequency specified in the
0 ... 20 parameter is exceeded while the door is accelerating.

P.186 [10ms] Deactivating the brake The brake is deactivated after the time specified in the parameter
0 ... 6000 during acceleration of the door.

) Parameters P.185 and P.186 work in parallel. The function

whose condition is first met is executed.

P.187 0 ... 1 Switching brake contact Switching of the rest state of the brake contact
0: Brake contact declined in rest state
1: Brake contact increased in rest state

P.18F Brake profile This profile is used to set the behaviour of the brake.

) The exact settings which the profile involves can be found in the
„drive profile" appendix.

P.189 [%] Brake for lifting anchor Lifting anchor motors require a voltage in order to lift the rotor.
0 ... 50 motors Only then is the motor able to turn.
Since frequency converters increase the voltage at the beginning of
travel only slowly, this does not result in releasing of the brake or
raising of the rotor. Therefore this parameter is used to set a
voltage increase similar to IxR compensation

The value of this parameter is expressed in percent of motor rated

voltage
The amount of voltage required varies with the motor model, so
that the best setting is determined experimentally.
Generally, the parameter should be set as low as possible.

P.202 0 ... 20 Translation factor This parameter is used to set the translation factor of the encoder.
The quicker the drive shaft, the higher the translation factor set.
Is only effective in connection with the absolute encoder EFA-PD.

) This parameter is only visible if P.200 is parameterized to EFA-

P.205 Positioning system This profile sets the limit switch system used.

IMPORTANT
In addition, the standard functions of the controller inputs are
adjusted to the limit switch type used.

) The exact settings which the profile involves can be found in the
„positioning system profile" appendix.

2.6 Positioning
P.210 0 ... 5 New teaching of end This parameter is used to start a new teaching of the end positions.
positions: The corresponding end positions are moved to in deadman mode
after activating the procedure and saved by holding down the stop
key.
The following setting options are possible:

0: Cancel, no end positions are taught.

1: Lower limit switch, upper limit switch and if appropriate limit
switch Intermediate Stop are taught
2: Upper limit switch and if appropriate limit switch Intermediate
Stop are taught
3: Lower limit switch and upper limit switch are taught.
4: Limit switch Intermediate Stop is taught.
5: All limit switches are taught.

) Teaching the intermediate stop limit switch depends on the

P.215 0 ... 1 Requesting correction of If automatic calculation of the pre-limit switch and limit switch bands

limit switch bands teaching of the pre-limit switch and limit switch bands.

0: Make no correction.
1: Start correction of the pre-limit switch and limit switch bands

) Correction of the pre-limit switch and limit switch bands is only

possible if P.216 = 2

P.216 0 ... 2 Selecting the ramp There are two basic ways to set the steepness of a ramp. The ramp
setting mode time can be set in milliseconds, or the ramp acceleration can be set
in Hz per second.
In addition, the limit switch bands are automatically set when
Automatic is activated.

0: Ramp times are manually set.

1: Ramp acceleration is manually set.
2: Acceleration and limit switches are automatically set.
IMPORTANT
In case of changing the speed of the door or one of the ramp
accelerations the automatically setting of the pre limit switches
and limit switch bands will start again.
The values set in the corresponding parameters are then
overwritten.

) Automatic teaching of the limit switches and ramp times only

functions if accelerations for ramps are set. You cannot use ramp
times as they were defined in earlier versions of the controllers

correction This prevents the door from crossing the end position during the
first travel and being damaged.
The end position is shifted by the percentage set.

P.218 0 ... 2 Independent This parameter is used to determine the start conditions for the
implementation of independent implementation of the automatic end limit switch
automatic limit switch correction. If the start condition is fulfilled, the controller starts with
correction an automatic operation, whereby in the LOWER end position and in
the UPPER end position a keep open time expires, which can be
set by P.219. Then, the door moves again into the other end
position. If the message I.510 is issued, the automatic limit switch
correction is completed and the door remains in the LOWER end
position. Independent implementation is deactivated.
0: Independent implementation is started by request OPEN or
CLOSE command
1: Independent implementation is started after the expiry of the
time set in parameter P.219.

) If the automatic limit switch correction can not be completed, the

automatic implementation is aborted after 15 door cycles. Such a
reason can be the message I.520, for example.

P.219 [s] Time for the This parameter is used to set the keep open time in the LOWER
2 ... 60 independent and UPPER end position during the independent implementation of
implementation of the limit switch correction. In addition, this time can be used as a
automatic limit switch start condition, if P.218 = 2 is set.

P.221 [Increments] Correction value end This parameter is used to shift the entire lower end position, i.e. the

synchronization after incremental encoders. To find a valid position again, the door must
power-up be resynchronized (homed) to a reference point.

Error/fault
STOP Fault → only deadman mode possible, if applicable automatic opening
Eichen Calibration → Setting of end positions in deadman travel
Calibration (for absolute encoders) → start procedure by STOP key
Not-Aus Emergency off → no travel possible, hardware safety chain interrupted
E-Off
Notfahrt Fault → only deadman moves ignoring safeties etc.
