RATIONALE:

Nowadays, there is a pandemic of COVID-19. A lot of masks are used in protecting the faces.
After they already use them, they usually throw them into a bin without getting rid of virus. Hence,
the virus can spread vastly in the air. Moreover, the no-lid trash bin can cause bad smell. From the
problem above, researchers decide to make the innovation called “Automatic Trash Bin”. This
innovation can solve these problems by opening automatically when the trash is near the bin’s lid
and can prevent the emanation of bad smell. Using this innovation, we can avoid touching the virus
directly from the trash bin and reducing the bad smell.

How does the Automatic Trash Bin help in protecting and reducing the spread of COVID-19?
