1. How is this celebrity portrayed in the magazine?
Taylor was portrayed in this article/magazine as one best musicians
of this generation as well as a great songwriter and storyteller capturing the
feelings of the listeners and taking you to her own realm when you listen to her
songs. Despite the fact that a lot of people known her and criticized for “only
writing songs about exes” when there are tons of her songs dedicated to her fans,
her mom, about hope, feminism and equality and she really proved multiple
times that she can bring a lot to the music industry and make the people connect
to her emotional state and feel the essence of her songs.
2. What kind of roles does the celebrity take in?
One of her known roles is her acting role in Valentine’s Day where
she’s a teenager who’s experiencing the beginning of love. She also voiced
Audrey on the animated film movie The Lorax. Most of her roles portray
sweet, innocent and loving girl that really suits her in real life as she was
one of the most generous artists of all time donating to multiple charities,
cases of sexual assault, equality, animal foundation, student loans, during
the pandemic and anonymous help to her fans and other people.

3. How these portrayals associate with specific cultural values?

People particularly those who have been in relationship that doesn’t
work out see her as someone who they can relate to. Using her art and
talent not just inspire people but also help them realize that love is not a
motionless phase but a rollercoaster of emotions and reminding that not all
things will go the way you wanted to in a relationship. But it is important to
recover and it’s okay to cry and at the end of the day you will realized that
everything that you have been through made you stronger and find your
one and only Lover. We can also see her as someone who’s a generous and
kind for helping people from different backgrounds and using her platform
to be an inspiration to everyone.

There are good and bad outcomes that media takes in during her
career and I think somehow those negative things that media portrayed her
become good as the time goes by. She’s known as someone who only
writes songs about her exes but when other musicians do it, somehow
there’s no negative connotation. But today after releasing her own Red
album, she became an icon for all the people who have experienced
heartbreaks during their relationship and reflects her songs. She’s helping
someone to be emotionally strong and to reminisce all the beautiful things
happened in a relationship, remembering the heartbreak, accepting and
moving forward on the latter part.
