Hardware and storage prerequisites

Before you begin, refer to the following server serial number
table to ensure your hardware is compatible with the Linux
software upgrade.
IMPORTANT: Serial number labels can be found on the left
hand side on most TVU Server chassis. In the event the label is
damaged or obscured, the TVU Configuration Backup tool will
identify hardware compatibility.

Step 2 - Capture the current configuration


Run the configuration backup tool
To run the configuration backup tool complete the following
steps:
1. From your Windows desktop, navigate to the USB drive,
locate and click the .exe file in the configuration backup tool
directory.

The system information screen displays.

Note: You should see two PIDs (instead of one) on the tool.
