1 Introduction
This document describes the modification work result for SkyPlaza APM door as per method
statement NTS-3602-Z-1481. SkyPier line APM door 4-6 and 4-7 are decommissioned and removed
by 3503. For CBTC, signals of door 4-6 and 4-7 are bypassed at CTF as per latest Thales LDP
(appendix 1), rather than being bypassed at junction box as per method statement, so external
cables are decommissioned as well. For SCADA and TPS, signals of door 4-6 and 4-7 are bypassed
as per method statement. All other work planned in the method statement have been carried out with
no abnormality found. After stage wires being removed and satisfying functional test, CBTC is
monitoring individual status of new APM door 4-21 and 4-22.

2 Test Record and Certificate

Test record and marked drawings are attached in Appendix 2. Calibration Certificates are attached
in Appendix 3.

3 Summary and Conclusion

All result is “Pass” and fulfilled relevant requirement and regulation.

DEVIATION:
DEVIATION:
==========
Customer requested to strap the Closed and Locked PSD status/ inputs and disable the PSD Alarm for
SkyPlaza SKPS platform (Skypier Line).

Agreed plan is to proceed only with the minimum drawings changes now for the field implementation and
capture all other drawings/ documents markups later.
No formal release drawings, all documentation changes will be done in the As-Built formal release.

Refer to the attached e-mails for the scope change.

FIELD CHANGES
-------------------
1. Remove Proximity Plates from SKPS platform
2. Open circuits for PDS Doors commands. Per Safety Request, also remove corresponding output relays.
3. Per Customer instruction, strap the circuits for SKPS Closed and Locked Status
4. Disable PSD Alarm (disconnect circuit)
5. SKPS Platform APM Doors APM-4-6 & APM-4-7 - Contacts for APM Doors status to be strapped/
bypassed.
Per Safety Request APM doors to be strapped by the Customer.

Field Modifications, as per the attached Redlines.

SAFETY HAZARDS AND SAFETY OPERATION RESTRICTIONS

------------------------------------------------------------------

This changes have been requested by the customer and are done per Customer instructions. However, we
typically do not strap the field element vital status (inputs) circuits/ we do not provide false inputs to the Zone
Controller.
There is a Safety Hazard associated with this change, as by this change the SKPS Platform Screen Door
Closed and Locked vital relays will be permanently energized, regardless of the real status of the PSD in the
field.
Example - Doors can be open, but by strapping the PSD sensors contacts sensors, this change will provide
a false status to the ZC.

Customer propose to mitigate this hazard by building a security wall and restricting the access to the SKPS
Platform Screen Doors.
Also there is a proposed sequence of work, extract from NTS e-mail:

"After the wall is built and secure PSD doors, EED and framework will be removed. At this point you MUST
strap out the vital signal as there will be no doors there to provide the signal and you will also constantly get
an alarm, from a non-existent PSD system".

Refer to the attached e-mails.

This means, this LDP can NOT be implemented until the above construction work is done.

Thales to issue SORs as necessary, to ensure this hazard is proper defined and mitigated in order to avoid
any risk to the public, station personnel or any 3rd party contractor personnel.
We also need to define and agree on Thales and the Customer responsibilities.

RISKS/EXPOSURE IF NOT INCORPORATED:

LDP: CCP00428492 Nov 21, 2021 10:21 PM 2

===========================

Impact on operation - Trains may apply emergency breaks in the absence of PSD inputs due to PSD
removal.

Site PICO Tests Required - INSTRUCTIONS TO SITE TEAM:

====================================

1. After Site installation, please perform Site PICO on the attached MODs drawings and attach that
respective SITE PICO TEST COPY to the LDP.

2. Please provide additional site installation changes (if any) Site As-built Markups on the PICO TEST
COPY.

3. Once the above tasks are completed, please progress the LDP to the Field Tested state.
