PAYMENT FACILITY FOR THE CONTRIBUTIONS UNDER ANDHRA
PRADESH LABOUR WELFARE FUND ACT, 1987 - MANDATING ONLINE
PAYMENT.

NOTIFICATION
Whereas, in the Andhra Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1987 section (10)
sub-clause (1) and vide Gazette Amendment No.7, Dt: 09.04.2015, it is directed that
‘Every employee shall contribute thirty (30) rupees per year to the Fund and every
employer shall, in respect of each such employee, contribute seventy (70) rupees per
year to the Fund’.
Whereas, the Government of India, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion,
Ministry of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi have made certain recommendations
and out of the said recommendations, one of the recommendation is “for collection
of contributions under Andhra Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1987 should be made
through an online system”.
Accordingly, the State Government is introducing an online facility for
payment of contributions under Andhra Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1987 by
employer and employee. It is hereby mandated that, all contributions from employee and
employer under the Andhra Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1987 shall be remitted
through online mode only. Process for making online payment under Andhra Pradesh
Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1987 in the prescribed format is annexed.
