There are many theoretical frameworks to look at, viz- Quality, Cost, Contingency,
system Just in Time; these are all suitable frameworks. However, leadership has more
materials and can be covered within the time frame as I believe.

1. The aim of this research is to explore how risk management practices impacts project
success for Nigerian companies doing projects in Bonny Island, Nigeria

i. Pragmatism: The research is expected to have a true life expectation and
will still have acadamic rigor.

pragmatic research.

i) Bonny Island has a chambes of commerce where all companies
doing business are domiciled and available on line.
Challenges: Some companies may be omiited due to dues payment
arears or socio-political reasons. Three major Oil giant companies( Shell,
Nigeria Liquidify Natural Gas NLNG/ Exxonmobile ) are resident in bonny
island and have list of companies doing business with them available in
the locals in bonny Island as part of been transparent.
List can also come from Nigeriall content Management board website,

Ii and iii) from the company response I will acertain the leadership types
e,g Projevt manager, Project Engineer, project cordinator, Safety officers,
Logistics lead etc,

Cost of above is estimated to be about $300

I may not have enough response since I am doing a case study; I may
extend it to project leaders who have worked in the island but are
currently engaged in other locations outside bonny lsland to make the
minimum statistical figure for analysis.
