    CHAPTER – 6

    ACQUISITION OF LAND

    In respect of residential properties, no person shall be allowed to acquire


    more than one residential plot/house in his own name or in the name of his
    wife or minor children.

    The above restriction shall not be imposed in respect of land other than of
    residential.

    Benami Transactions shall not be allowed.

    A person owning a residential flat in Commercial Area can acquire a


    residential plot/flat in residential area.
