Question 1: Do you think it’s better for criminals to go to prison or to do community work?

Personally, I believe doing community work is the best methods that can be used to help
criminals become better citizens. Firstly, working could change offenders’ attitude in a positive
way. Being educated, criminals would be able to distinguish between right and wrong, and they
would realise that it is unacceptable to break the law. Secondly, community work is extremely
important for criminals as it helps them to achieve a normal career after completing their
sentence. Many people commit crimes due to their lack of money and become criminals such as
burglars or robbers. Providing works would help them earn a living when coming back to the
society, and they would no longer have motivation to reoffend. In conclusion, I think the
government should provide many works for criminals rather than send them to prison.
Question 2: What do you think were the reasons that caused many animal species to be
endangered/extinct?

Species become endangered for many reasons. Firstly, it can be the destruction of habitat.
Humans destroy precious habitat--the natural environment of a living thing--when they fill
swamps and marshes, dam rivers and cut down trees to build homes, roads and other
developments. Secondly, Oil spills, acid rain and water pollution have been devastating for many
species of fish and birds.Thirdly, many animals are over-hunted because their meat, fur and other
parts are very valuable. Finally, it is exotic species. When animals or plants arrive into a new habitat
from a foreign place they sometimes introduce diseases that the native species can't fight. These "exotic"
species can also prey on the native species. So, the government must pass a law to protect animal species
as soon as possible.
Question 3: Has globalization caused young people to care less about their countries?

I don’t think so. If globalization made the young less interested about their countries,we
wouldn’t see so much national pride in sporting competitions like Sea Games or World Cup. For
example, when the national football team of Vietnam won the AFF football tournament in
2018,millions of people flooded the streets of Viet Nam to celebrate the historic victory.In fact, I
think globalization has encouraged communication across cultures, which stimulates the young
to be proud of their country.
