Pythagorean Theorem

Pythagoras, also known as the ‘Pythagorean Theorem,’ is the most

famous mathematical formula which defines relations between the sides of the
triangle. Many different methods have shown that the theorem is the most
commonly used in any kind of mathematical theorem. The evidence is varying
from one thousand years, including geometric evidence to another algebraic
evidence. A symbol of mathematical abstrusion, mystical power or intellectual
power has attracted interest outside mathematics, as well, as popular references
to literature, plays, music, songs, stamps and cartoons. There is discussion the
theorem in Pythagoras was discovered in many places or once, and the first
discovery date is uncertain as is the date of the first evidence. The theorem’s
history can be subdivided in four parts: knowledge of Pythagorean triples,
knowledge of the relationship between the sides of a right triangle, knowledge of
the relations between adjacent angles and evidence of the theorem within an
inferior system. The theorem can be generalized in various ways, including
higher-dimensional spaces, not Euclidean spaces, and objects that are not correct
triangles or objects but are n-dimensional solids. In short, Pythagorean theorem
shows that the square on the right triangle is equal to the sum of the squares on
both sides of hypotenuse.
