I asked Mrs. Jenkins and Mrs.

comprehensive curricula would cause a
huge upset among the community.

"Yes. These parents like control over State's culture

anticipate a massive exodus of it." -Mrs.

The Solution
Utah is already on the right track to improving their sex education
program, so the solution to this problem is to keep doing what
we're doing until we are where we need to be.
Other than that, raising awareness and talking about it is a way to
get the state to notice that there needs to be a change.
Sharing on social media, bringing it up to parents, getting different
people's opinions, ect.
Or writing/talking to the people in charge of education, like I did.
"... the thing that I teach
my students is
knowledge is power. If
you don't have that
knowledge, you don't
have the power to
make the choices that
you need to make."
--- Mrs. Jenkins
