filled, educational franchises. Engineering For
Kids brings STEM education, (Science,
Technology, Engineering, and Math) to
children in a fun and challenging way through
classes, camps, workshops and birthday
parties. We are proud to inspire children to
build on their natural curiosity by teaching
engineering concepts through hands-on
learning.

Since its opening in 2009 Engineering For Kids has
reached over 1 Million students globally.

From summer camps to birthday parties, Engineering


for Kids has been helping shape and mold the minds
of America’s future.
Engineering For Kids has developed exciting programs that invite children
to have fun while they use their knowledge of engineering and science to
design, create and improve solutions to engineering problems. Children
are natural engineers and love building and taking things apart.

•After-School Programs – 1 to 1.5 hour classes in 4 to 8 week sessions. Offered in
Public Schools, Private Schools, or at the home of a Home school Parent at the
Preschool, Elementary, and Middle School Levels.

•Evening Classes – 1 to 1.5 hours classes held at community centers in the


evenings typically offered in 6-week sessions.

•Camps – held 3 hours per day for 5 days held at community centers,
public schools, private schools, preschools, or at other children’s camp
locations. Each week consists of two 3-hour camps, one held in the
morning and another in the afternoon. Afternoon session topics are
different than the morning’s session. Students pay double the fee for
both camps.
•Birthday Parties – Parties can be offered at the child’s home, community center
or learning center

•Workshops – Can be held for Mom’s Groups or In-School Field Trips

•Scouts Workshops – Classes held at community centers or scout facilities and


are typically scheduled per scout group.

•Special/Corporate Events – Special events held for corporations or companies


and events at malls, conventions or public fairs.
• Our qualified instructors help our students learn
at home over safe and secure video conferencing
technology where they learn about the world
around them through engineering.

• This gives students an excellent opportunity to see


how colleges & universities all over the world take
advantage of this technology.

• With virtual EFK classes, students are no longer


limited by the offerings of their local school or
community. Students can choose which virtual
program interests them most and can start at
almost any time. We are very excited to be
offering these virtual programs and hope you may
want to work right along with us in helping Inspire
the Next Generation of Engineers.
Engineering For Kids uses a 3-step approach to training franchisees.
Pre-Training:
➢ Upon receipt of a signed Franchise Agreement, we will send you information to prepare you
for training.
➢Items will include: Pre-opening manuals and Details and Dates for training.
Corporate Training:
➢ Our initial comprehensive training program will prepare you and one other person with the
knowledge and tools to open your own Engineering For Kids business, from class curriculum
to marketing and business operations. (2 Days in Virginia)

Ongoing Training:
➢ Our in-depth operations manuals and database of support resources cover many of the
ongoing details of running your Engineering For Kids business. You will receive curriculum
manuals for each of our content areas with step by step lesson plans for all of our activities.
Training videos will be available for both key curriculum areas and as new curriculum
becomes available.
Response
➢Our home office is always available for assistance and to answer your questions. Our goal is to
quickly answer any question or concern.
Intranet System
➢Engineering For Kids owners will have 24/7 access to our intranet system. Here you will be able to
receive messages from our home office, download curriculum materials, operations manuals, videos,
and other resources.
Innovative Curriculum Development
➢We are dedicated to constant innovation of our programs, lessons plans, and teaching resources.
Marketing and Brand Platform
➢We provide an array of unique promotional and marketing materials and coach
franchise owners on detailed marketing plans and strategies. Our online, web-to-print
and design solutions make it easy to utilize our wide range of materials to market your
business.

Franchise Fee: paid as a lump sum due at signing.
Territory of 100 elementary schools- $30,000

Royalty Fee:
The Engineering For Kids Royalty Fee is 7% of
gross sales paid monthly.
Technology Fee: $200/month
Minimum Monthly Royalty- $300 (starting after 6 months)

Your protected territory will be determined by a
geographical area consisting of 100 public and
private elementary schools. These schools will
include some or all of grades kindergarten through
sixth.

1. Getting Acquainted: During this step, you will submit a completed
Request for Consideration form. We will then call you to answer any
questions you may have.
2. Disclosure Review: We will send you a copy of our Franchise
Disclosure Document then call you to answer all your questions about
the FDD.
3. Discovery Day: Meet with us Virtually for an in depth review of
Engineering For Kids and its resources.
4. Signing the Agreement: Once we have agreed that this is a fit for both
parties your franchise will be awarded and training will be scheduled.
