Admission Requirements/Procedures –
Homeschooling/Online Distance Learning (ODL) - Combo
1. Parent/Guardian reads first the article, "Before You Decide to Homeschool your Child."
 
2. Parent/Guardian fills up Enrollment Form online through the school's website at
www.hcsinternational.org by clicking “ENROLL NOW”.  Enrollment Form maybe filled up also at the school
(onsite) and  submit it to the Admission Office personally.)
 
3. Parent/guardian fills up and submit Parents Interview Form (PIF). At the discretion of the Admission
Officer, interviews Parent/Guardian and/or Student (either personally at the office, via e-mail or via
www.Skype.com );
 
4. Submit the following:
4.1 Academic Progress Record or Report Card from the previous school (except Nursery level). This
document must be written in English if not, it should be translated to English and duly notarized. 
4.2 Birth Certificate or Family/Household Register (duly translated in English and notarized for non-native
English speaking international students).
4.3 1 pc. 2X2 ID coloured picture
4.4 Photocopy of Passport for international student
4.5 Duly filled up and signed Parents and School Covenant/Memorandum of Agreement

5. Parent-Tutor agrees and signs “Mechanics, Procedures and Policy for Web-based Online Curriculum
with www.time4learning.com and for Local Textbooks” and “Scope and Sequence and Chapter Coverage
per Grading Period for time4learning.com web-based curriculum” and sends a scanned copy of the signed
original via e-mail to the Admission Officer.

6. Parent-Tutor fills up and signs MAPE/MAPEH Placement Sheet and sends a scanned copy of the signed
original via e-mail to the Admission Officer.
(NOTE: The abovementioned admission requirements must be submitted first initially in scanned copy to
the admission officer via e-mail for preliminary evaluation purposes. Appropriate original/hard copies should
later on be submitted to the admission officer of the school via air courier or in person to make the enrollment
official if the parents/students are outside of Cebu City.)

7. School admission officer informs student through the parent/guardian a NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE in
writing or via e-mail
 
8. Student and/or parent/guardian pays School Fees to the School Cashier or through the school's bank
account as follows:

(Please inform the school via e-mail of the deposit/transfer made for confirmation. Note: You should remit the
full amount. The school will not shoulder any bank charge. Official Receipt will be issued later. Please keep a
copy of your deposit slip or transfer slip.)

UNION, EXPRESS MONEY, XOOM, MONEYGRAM, ML KWARTA PADALA,
PALAWAN EXPRESS OR CEBUANA LHUILLIER PERA PADALA C/O ARTURO N.
TANGAL, ADMISSION DIRECTOR  AND JUST SEND HIM VIA E-MAIL THE REFERENCE
NO OR CLAIM CODE, THE ACTUAL NAME OF THE SENDER together with the scanned
copy of the remittance slip.
 
9. Student and/or parents subscribe the web-based curriculum for a separate monthly subscription fee through
www.time4learning.com in USA through his/her own credit card and give HCSI Director and HCSI Student
Adviser its Parent and Student Username and Passwords of their accounts.

10. Parent-Tutor and/or student attends orientation sessions with the student’s assigned Student Adviser or
Director through Skype.com by making appointment at least 1 week before the actual meeting. This is to be
done once the local textbooks and its counterparts are received by the parents and before studying them.

ENROLLMENT PERIOD AND START OF CLASS:


 
For Filipino citizens, we advise parents and students to enroll before the beginning of the school year which is
from April to August of the year. This is to avoid any problem in registering the student with the online
Learning Information System (LIS) of Philippine Dep Ed.

Generally, enrollment period of distance learning/homeschooling is anytime during the year.  Classes start every
Monday.  School days are Monday to Friday.
