INTRODUCTION

We had plenty of zoom calls


where we discussed with the
dutch people about gender

individual meetings with their
partners and formal whatsapp
conversation, talking about
gender related roles in each
other's countries .
SERENA &
JULIE

Our group had made pairs with the other Holland


group. I had been paired with Julie. We had
arranged a meeting to get to know each other
and ask each other some questions regarding the
gender related roles. I had also made a padlet on
which I put some questions and the Holland group
had kindly given us their view on those topics.
While I was speaking with Julie I got to know how
life over in Holland is. Whether or not they have a
lot of differences between the genders there
regarding home life or school or work.
NEIL &
SANNE

Our team made pairs with each of the foreign


exchange students from hill and.I was paired with
Sanne. We had a zoom meeting where we
introduced ourselves and briefly summarised the
position of genders in both countries.We
progressed by having a formal conversation on
whatsapp where one could clearly see the
differences in the rate at which the empowerment
of women took place in each country.Whilst in
conversation, Sanne and I discussed our current
school life and real-life situations that we
witnessed related to discrimination of genders..
ADYA &
TEUN

In gender related roles, i was paired with an


exchange student from Holland, Teun. We
collaborated and discussed the current gender
statuses in both countries. I understood the
extent of discrimination women had to battle in
Holland in terms of work and education. During
the conversation, Teun described briefly how the
position of women is improving, though it is yet
far behind the goal. He also summarised his life
in Holland and how differently girls and boys are
treated in school. As we proceeded through the
meeting, I realised how similar our situations are
and how close we are to reaching gender
equality.
SHIVEN &
LENNART

Our team made pairs with each of the foreign


exchange students from holland. I was paired with
Lennart. We had a zoom meeting where we
introduced ourselves and briefly summarised the
position of genders in both countries. We continued
to have another zoom meeting between Lennart
and I, where we decided to make a document with
answers to the research questions and send it to
each other.
SOUMYAA &
YOURI

We had a brief meeting with the holland students


where we got to know each other and decided ours
pairs. I was paired with youri. Me and youri also
had a conversation regarding the differences in
how different genders were treated in each of the
generations. I got to know that there was a lot of
equality in holland, as compared to what it was in
india at the same time. Gender equality is still
improving in both countries.
AADITYA &
SOPHIE

In gender related roles, i was paired with an


exchange student from Holland, Sophie. We had a
brief talk over gender discrimination in both
countries. I understood the extent of
discrimination women had to battle in Holland in
terms of work and education. We had a zoom
meeting where we introduced ourselves and
briefly summarised the position of genders in
both countries. She also summarised her life in
Holland and how differently girls and boys are
treated in school. As we proceeded through the
meeting, I realised gender equality is still
improving in both countries.
