THE NEW EXHIBITION ITINERARY

The new arrangement of the various collections is based

on the idea of restoring the homogeneity of the different
components that contributed to the formation of the
Museum of Palermo: collections, excavation contexts, etc.
The idea is to go beyond the typological approach
(ceramics, sculpture, bronzes etc.) that was prevalent in
the post-war period when arranging a collection, in order
to give the visitor the opportunity to understand the
formation process of the Museum itself.
