Development studies deals with the politcal,cultural, geographical and socio- economic perspectives of a

society or a country. These things are data driven and require surveys, observations and field research.
As a mechanical engineer I’ve acquired analytical and logical skills which are Also a part of development
studies. I’ve also interned at an educational firm for business development and came to know about the
difficulties faced by students to gain soft skills and learn aptitude. These things created a curiosity in me
to learn more about different sectors of society and challenges faced by them. I would like to work on
designing and gathering data through surveys and field research and drawing conclusion from the same
which will be beneficial for meaningful inclusion.
