1. Describe the life of Ryan Bang from childhood to present.

Ryan Bang, an only child was raised in a family where his father and mother were
separated. His childhood was not easy, and as he grew older, he struggled immensely. His
mother worked as an insurance salesperson in the morning, a real estate agent in the
afternoon, a waitress in the evening, and washed plates at his best friend's restaurant before
going home. The situation forced to do so since her husband had a credit before he left
them, and she had to pay it off. As a result, she had to do whatever she could simply to be
survived with his son. Ryan and his mother experienced to live in a basement and school
of pianist just to save money. He said, their six-month-long dish, which is simply repeated
every day, is similar to 'bulalo,' which is simply boiling over and again for soup with their
rice. They struggled so hard until one of his mother's best friends called and asked if he
wanted to go to the Philippines for a vacation. The name "RYAN" was started and given
to him by his mother's best friend at the airport in the Philippines. Ryan had a difficult life
in the Philippines; his life there was not simple, and when he returned to Korea, he still
saw his mother struggle, which is why he returned to the Philippines and lived with his best
friend, Tom. At the time, a friend saw Ryan's sense of humour and encouraged him to
audition for PBB; therefore, Ryan's journey as a celebrity star began. In the year 2010, he
joined Showtime as of the noontime hosts. He claimed that he had never borrowed money
from anyone because it reminded him the struggle of their life. Until he became the owner
of a salon or even a restaurant, and he gifted his mother a condo. "Mahirap maging mahirap,
Dapat kung kumikita ka maging smart", Ryan said in the interview. Ryan's life was not
easy from childhood to the present; he met people from many walks of life and became so
motivated that he used that with determination to help his family as well other people.

2. What is the life goal of Ryan given the experiences he encountered, career, family
and others?

Career- He aspires to work in a stable job where he can provide for his family and
bring them out of poverty. He began as a PBB contestant and completed the
journey—becoming a noontime host—by working really hard and training himself
to mature and adapt to the environment of being a celebrity star.

Family- He desired for his family to be completed, for his father and mother to
reunite. When he has his own family in the near future, he does not want to go
through what he had because it was extremely difficult. And having a family
problem affects all element of your life, including socially, emotionally,
economically, and so on. Being raised by separated parents hinders your growth as
a person, which is why he swears to never do it to his future child.

Others- He wants to help people since he knows how difficult life can be for a poor
family. He provides opportunities for others to escape poverty and live a more
fulfilling life. He will be a blessing to those in need since he has a nice heart and is
willing to help them.

3. What is his plan for his employees?

He treats his staff with respect and kindness, providing them with free lunch and
dinner. He also wants to provide them with a regular work since Ryan understands
how difficult poverty can be. And, in order to assist others, he maintains a positive
attitude as an employer toward his employees in order for them to progress together
in their lives and businesses.

4. Learning insights from the story?

I recently realized that we have no idea what will happen to us in the near future,
who we will meet, or where life will take us. Indeed, everything happens for a
reason; all we have to do is trust the process and have faith in God at all times,
because after all the storms, there will be a rainbow to rescue us from our
circumstances- it pays off. A combination of hardships, patience, perseverance, and
trust can lead to a successful life.

FAMILY-BASED PERSPECTIVE
- So, in here we analyze the family as a social system that has an impact on one's
behavior and beliefs. Thus, according Ryan's experience, growing up with separated
parents has a major impact on one's development as a person- a person's life is made
more difficult by a lack of support and guidance.

STRENGTH-BASED PERPECTIVE
-We look on people's abilities and self-determination It's a way of looking at them
who are resourceful and resilient in the face of hardship. Thus, according Ryan's story, his
mother is extremely determined, and she is willing to work full time at several jobs simply
to pay her bills and keep her son, Ryan, surviving. They both endured the hardship and
they never gave up on life’s challenges, they trusted the process, believing that one day
they would be in a situation where there would be no problems and they would be in a
place where they could enjoy life.
