FIRE FIGHTING ROBOT PRAMOD BN’, HEMALATHA KN?, Poornima BJ, Harshitha R* PRAMOD GNS 4.3.4.5 Students of Atria Institute of Technology, Bengeluru,Kamataka 2 Assistant Professor, Atria Institute of Technology, Bengeluru,Kamataka Abstract: According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), it is estimated that more than 1.2 lakh deaths have been caused because of fire accidents in India from 2010- 2014 Robotics has provided the advancement of technology where itis very much possible to replace humans with robots for fighting the fire.Detection of fire and trying to extinguish the fire is a very dangerous job for the fire ‘extinguisher and it may also risk his life. This project aims for giving technical solution for the above mentioned problem. This robot is a ‘mechanical design that is eapable of carrying out a complex scries of actions automatically ‘The entire system is programmed using an ‘Arduino UNO board (ATmega328P Imierocontrolle) which acts as the brain ofthe system. Human intervention is becoming less everyday and robots are used widely for the purpose of safety. Keywords: ATMEGA328, immoderate sonic sensor, Gas sensor, IR module, Motor, Water pump, Serve moter;power supply. Lintroduction: ‘The project bestowed here is based on fire fighting robotic . i's a term that has since been used to talk to a machine that performs work to assist individuals or work that humans that realize troublesome or undesirable. they're capable of acting repetitive tasks a lot of quickly, cheaply and accurately than humans. AI has ‘gained quality because of the advancement of the ‘many technologies of computing and non technology creating robot is simpler and ‘comfortable, the hearth fighting mechanism is style to go looking fora fireplace in an ‘exceedingly little plan house of the precise dimension Camera module/Mobile is connected to the top of the robot to supply video from the 978-1-7281-0898.3/19/831,00 ©2019 IEEE 889 hearth prone space. The Robot additionally has the potential o avoid obstacles and upon detection of fireside, it forwards a message to a predefined variety. The Robot moves through ‘model structure and if hearth sill exists, itis ‘destroyed with the assistance of pump and sprays, U.Working: ‘The designed fire fighting robot consists of Microcontroller ATMEGA328, immoderate sonie sensor, Gas sensor, TR module, Motor, ‘Water pump, Servo motor, power supply. and is hhaving one Android phone. We have designed @ Server for handling the robot from web page and can able to monitor different parameters from web server, Video streaming: The video streaming robot will continuously capture images with the help of camera of Android phone and are sent to the web server so we are able to see the current scenario of area where that robot will be present , being anywhere from web server. Temperature monitoring: The robot will continuously monitor the temperature where that robot will be present with the help of temperature sensor interfaced to the controller and send these parameters on web from Android phone via Bluetooth module interfaced to the controller, The temperature sensor readings are displayed on the LCD display present on the robot and are also displayed on the web page. Fire detection: Apart from increase in temperature te fire is also detected with the help of Smoke sensor. The fire detection is done with IeTe2019 ‘Authoraed teense usa ile o Auckland Univers of Technology. Dawnlonced on May 23.2020 09 59:28 UTC from IEEE Xplore. Obstacle detection: The IR sensor is used for detecting the obstacle in the path of robot. So that the robot ean change its direction accordingly after detet Remote handling from web server: All the data from robot is sent to the Android phone via Bluetooth module interfaced to the controller and is then sent to the web server from Android phone, So that one is able to control the robot ‘movernent lefUright from web server. ILBLOCK DIAGRAM DESCRIPTION: Block Diagram encompass ATMEGA328, jimmoderate sonic sensor, Gas sensor, IR ‘module, Motor, Water pump, Servo motor power supply. The main part of this project is, ATMEGA328.According to the device inputs, the controller directs all other outputs. The ultrasonic module generates high sound waves. It is used as an obstacle detector. When an obstacle is detected it send a message to ATMEGA 328.An IR module is used to transmit IR rays and in step with the sunshine intensity the flame is detected. A gas device is employed to find the intensity of fire. MQ6 devices is employed here as gas sensor. ‘When the power is switched on, it detects the gas ‘or smoke and it sends a message to the ATMEGA IC. Ifthe flame is detected, the robot starts moving towards the flame. It is done by a motor. After police work the placement of the flame, the automaton comes closer to the placement, and the pump is tumed ON until the flame is destroyed. A pump is employed to extinguish the hearth by sprinkling water on the detected space. ‘A servo motor is attached to the automaton. It ‘will rotate in an angle between 40 degree and cone hundred twenty degree and may spray water within the location of fireplace. IV. Algorithm: Step 1: begin, Step 2: Initialize all ports. Step 3: Sean for fireplace, Step 4: Ifthe fireplace is detected entail robot! Otherwise go to step2 Step 5: Ifthe edge voltage doesn't exceed, go to next step. Otherwise go to next step7. Step 6: Robot! moves to the location of fireside. Step 7: Call both robot and robot2, Step &: Robot] and robot2 moves the situation of fireside Step 9: Pump! is ON. Step 10: Fireplace termination by pump]. Step L1: Ifthe fire is extinguished completely, jump to step2. Step 12: Pump2 is ON. Step 13: Fireplace termination by pump2. Step 14: Stop Fig:1-Image of Fire Fighting Robot 890 ‘Authorzed teense usa leo Auckland Univers of Technology. Dawnlonsed on May 23.2020 09 59:28 UTC from IEEE Xplore. It-will be both interesting and challenging to put all this together into a practical, autonomous fire fighting services. V.Conelusion: ‘The small controller primarily based adjustable fireplace extinguishing system bas been introduced. Experimental result that is showed thatthe small controller may be a reliable instrument to regulate the hearth device. This system is applicable to totaly different sizes of fireplace device and high controlling capability over them. The simple style ofits permit’s ‘minimum of maintenanee work, There is a ‘greatly reduced of malfunction, as no moving half the chance of warning is also reduced. The price performance relationship is price effective. ‘The application of developed fireplace fighting ‘automaton is used in the organic compound plants, hazardous space like radioactive setting ‘unstable structure, and high-pressure vessel (Currently, the development of fireplace fighting ‘automaton still not absolutely supported by ‘government agency ot fireplace department is to be enforced throughout vital scene and scale back the risk fireplace fighter. Effort have to be ‘compelled to be created to encourage the use of fireplace fighting automaton by planning a coffee price and smart quality machine.
