*Terms and conditions - 15% off Friends and Family Discount Voucher

All Friends and Family Scheme members must comply with the Terms & Conditions set out below.
Any contravention of these Terms & Conditions will result in the immediate suspension of that
member from the scheme.

1. By registering your details, you are opting into the Friends & Family Scheme, under which you
will receive a monthly email from Greene King with your discount voucher included.
2. You cannot register as a friend or family member using a Greene King email address. Any email
address registered as part of the scheme must a valid and active account.
3. The Friends and Family Discount Voucher can be used in any Greene King managed pub as
payment for food and drink. It can't be used in tenanted and leased pubs in our Pub Partners
estate. It also can’t be used in the Boat (Catherine-De-Barnes).
4. The discount will be 15% off your bill (food and drink - including drink only orders) subject to a
maximum bill of £200, and a maximum discount of £30 per transaction. Bills in excess of £200
cannot be split in order to increase the amount of discount available. Any amount outstanding after
the discount has been applied must be paid by you in full.
5. The Friends and Family discount voucher can be redeemed on any day, including: Bank
Holidays, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve
& New Year’s Day.
6. The Friends and Family member must be a member of the party in order to present a Friends
and Family Discount Voucher.
7. The Friends and Family member (or a member of their accompanying party) must pay using a
credit/debit card when redeeming their Friends and Family Discount Voucher. Bills can be paid by
more than one member of the party, as long as all payments are made using either a credit card or
debit card. Cash, Apple Pay, Android Pay or gift cards cannot be used.
8. The Friends and Family Discount Voucher must be presented prior to, or at the time of paying the
bill.
9. Gratuities cannot be discounted by using the Friends and Family Discount Voucher. These must
be paid separately.
10. The Friends and Family Discount Voucher can only be redeemed up to ten times in the month
of validity.
11. The Friends and Family Discount Voucher cannot be used against the sale of gift cards,
cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes or other tobacco related products.
12. If you are using the Friends and Family Discount Voucher for food and drink while staying in a
Greene King hotel, please ensure you pay your bill at the time of consumption as a bill posted to
your room cannot be discounted later.
13. The Friends and Family Discount Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other
discount including the Employee Discount scheme.
14. The Friends and Family Discount Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with Tesco vouchers.
15. The Friends and Family Discount Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be sold or
auctioned or uploaded to any voucher site(s). No cash or other alternative to the discount will be
offered.
16. Greene King reserves the right to verify the age of the person submitting the Friends and Family
Discount Voucher.
17. Photocopies or defaced vouchers will not be accepted.
18. The right to use Friends and Family Discount Vouchers is dependent upon the employee who
nominated you to receive the discounts remaining an employee of the Greene King group. If you
know that the employee has left Greene King, please do not present your vouchers to avoid any
disappointment when they are refused.
19. You will receive an email notifying you of your removal from the scheme if/when the employee
that issued your voucher leaves Greene King’s employment.
20. Greene King reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Friends and Family Scheme at any
time.
21. Greene King’s decision is binding in all matters relating to the Friends and Family Scheme, and
no correspondence shall be entered into.
22. These terms and conditions (and any non-contractual disputes/claims which arise out of or in
connection with them) will be governed by English law and members submit to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the English courts.

Greene King Employee Processing the Friends and Family Discount Voucher

1. A member of the management team must process all Friends and Family Member Discount
Vouchers presented by guests.
2. Under no circumstances is it permissible to use a Friends and Family Member Discount Voucher
to: (a) resolve a customer complaint; or (b) give discount to any person other than the Friends and
Family member presenting the voucher and the group they are with.
3. Discount must be applied at the time the bill is paid (by credit/debit card only). It is not permitted
to re-open a bill, void the payment and retrospectively apply a Friends and Family Member
Discount Voucher.
4. The discount will be 15% off the bill, subject to a maximum bill of £200, and a maximum discount
of £30 per transaction. Bills in excess of £200 cannot be split in order to increase the amount of
discount available. Any amount outstanding after the discount has been applied must be paid by
the guest in full.
