Project Introduction & Overview:

Infrastructure development is an important factor in a country's economic progress.

Infrastructure development boosts a country's productivity, making businesses more

competitive and enhancing a region's economy. Infrastructure not only improves

manufacturing, transportation, and communication efficiency, but also assists in providing

economic incentives to both public and private sector participants. The accessibility and

quality of a region's infrastructure influence domestic enterprises' investment decisions and

define the region's appeal to foreign investors.

Giving priority to the nation’s growth and aims at the development of the township,

this project focuses on developing an old town with amenities like conventional centre, roads

connecting to neighbouring townships, healthcare clinics, football stadium and shopping

malls in a step-by-step phase. Sault Construction Company Ltd. is one of the oldest and

famous companies for its incredible milestones in the construction industry with their unique

construction patterns.

Project Objective:

The project objective includes started constructing a convention centre, bus terminal,

and shopping mall in the place of the old mall in Wellington Street. As a result, the benefits

will be more people visiting the area and thereby helps the economy in many ways. After the

fulfilment of the first phase then starts the second phase consisting of a football stadium,

healthcare clinic with better facilities. This will be convenient for the neighbourhood as the

nearest medical centre is 35 kilometres away from the town. Both the projects come under

Sault Development program.

Work Breakdown Structure:

A project work breakdown structure (WBS) is a visual representation of a deliverable

or product-oriented grouping of project work parts used to organise and subdivide a project's

entire work scope. The work breakdown structure (WBS) is a crucial project tool concerned

with project completion. Its creation and implementation should be given careful

consideration and preparation to minimise further change.

Due to its relevance to a wide range of project activities, major adjustments to a WBS

require a significant amount of time and resources. Other usage of WBS-like systems should

not be confused with project WBSs, which are driven by the scope of a project. Many project

managers include an overview WBS in the project plan, followed by an orderly structure as a

record of the progress undergone within the project. We can realize that we preferred one

design for an overall WBS and another for a specific WBS.
