Importance of meaningful client involvement.

Client involvement plays a significant role in influencing and

improving customer experience. Their feedback may be gathered from various intended

consumers to better understand what is going through a client's thoughts at any given time.

1. Interacting with customers helps us to understand their exact requirements in depth:

Due to the active participation of the client in the project, it helps project managers to

understand their customers and shall determine what and how the customer is thinking about

the project. While interacting, consumers may provide vital insights that the project managers

might not think of. Since a business works based on demand-supply factors for a product or

the service offer, then it will be easy for the project managers to cope up with the supply to

make up the required supply to boost sales. If the project manager understands the exact

requirements, then only the project shall be successful.

2. Failure is inevitable without significant customer engagement from the start of a

complicated project:

It is not enough to just include customer engagement; it should be in a meaningful way.

Simply signing off on implementation, or a confusing test plan does not

constitute meaningful involvement. Meaningful client participation is a learned skill that is

built into the whole project life cycle, from its start to maturity (Wysocki, 2015). While

introducing a new game into the market it is better to get an opinion from the customers who

are enthusiastic about gaming, and it will gain positive feedback from the gamers. Always

while preparing for a project there are equal chances of getting the project success or failure
3

at the stage of final launch into the market. So, if it is possible to understand the mindset of

the customers such worries shall be avoided to a certain extent.

3. Client involvement Increases satisfaction:

Customers like it when their opinions are taken into consideration. Normally, there is not a

single firm that does not listen to its customers and gives them exactly what they want. The

companies understand that if they do not offer what the consumer wants, they will not spend

their hard-earned money on purchasing the product and hence it will not be welcomed.

Giving consumers precisely what they want can only result in a positive outcome. They felt

that they are honored by the company, surely the company engaged in the production cannot

seek involvement from their every customer but can have feedback from those customers

who will be like a well-wisher to the company.

4. Influence of social media presence for communicating with customers:

It is so simple to communicate with individuals from all over the world through social

networking platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, and Twitter. All businesses and

organizations realize the importance of social media and maintain official pages on all major

social media platforms. In this way, the companies can involve potential consumers in a more

interesting manner and shall spread the word. Social media may also assist in increasing

consumer interaction and even help in the sales process.

5. Customer retention is a long-term investment that pays off:

Any financial commitment that makes to keep the consumers happy will only increase

business income at the end of the year. So, it shall be considered as one of the important

aspects of customer involvement. When people think about it, a successful customer retention
4

strategy pays for itself, and the only way to keep a client happy is to provide them precisely

what they want (Tobak, 2017). In any business if the customer is fully satisfied then the

product will be a grand success.
