Major Duties and Responsibilities:


1.  Assisting clients with “self-responsibility” of treatment and education implementation
as directed by the treating team members.
2.  Alert the responsible physiotherapist/kinesiologist to any problems, which may
interfere with or jeopardize the client’s progress.    
3.  Willing to participate and learn how to develop, in conjunction with the treating
physiotherapist and kinesiologist progressive exercise programs addressing the specific
injury, as well as over-all conditioning geared to pre-injury function where indicated.
4.  Instruct and assist on appropriate exercise progression as directed by the kinesiologist.
5.  Assist with rehabilitation treatment including U.S., I.F.C., muscle stimulation, heat and

Job Summary: The Patient Flow Facilitator (PFF) is accountable to the Health Services Practice Leader-
Nursing. The PFF is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of students within the
Health Services building. The layout of the Health Services complex requires dedicated
personnel to help students from the reception desk, to the waiting room(s), and into the
appropriate clinical assessment rooms. The PFF must be conscientious, courteous, and
respectful of student privacy pertaining to personal information and personal health
information. The PFF will interact with administrative staff, nurses, nurse practitioners,
physicians, mental health practitioners, other allied health providers as well as staff,
students, and faculty. There are a total of three (3) PFF positions required for each of the
fall and winter terms and two for the spring term each year. These positions share
responsibilities and function as an integrated team.
Job Responsibilities: I.   System Navigation: Enables the smooth flow of students (walk-in or booked clients
from the front desk to the waiting room and into the correct assessment room according to
established procedures.
2.  Schedule Management: In collaboration with the front desk and nursing staff, PFFs will
make adjustments to the schedules to ensure flow is maintained despite late arrivals,
cancellations, or other schedule changes.
3.  Team Collaboration: As a member of the PFF team, each person is responsible to
ensure appropriate coverage during the opening hours of the Clinic (8am to 8pm in the Fall
and Winter Terms, and 8am to 5pm in the Spring term).  This includes team-based
scheduling and equal distribution of shifts, sick day coverage, vacation coverage, etc.  As
part of the larger health care team the role of the PFF is to support the clinical staff to
provide timely and efficient services to students.
4.  Operational Process Review: Within the scope of the role, consults within the PFF team
to bring forward recommendations to the Practice Leader for improvements to operational
processes.  Specifically, opportunities to improve flow, way-finding, and access should be
explored.
5.  Other Activities: At the request of the Practice leader, the PFF may be required to
perform other activities within Health Services to enable the safe and efficient movement
of students within the building.  This includes but is not limited to: escorting students to
other programs/buildings/faculties on campus or assisting
nurses/physicians/paramedics/other staff during urgent/emergent situations.
6.  Participate in health promotion activities as needed. i.e.: preparation of health displays,
resources, and information packages as well as maintain and update teaching
materials/equipment/tools as required.

In all circumstances, the PFF must keep any and all personal information or personal

This position is responsible and accountable for the safe and efficient movement of
students throughout the Health Services complex and elsewhere on campus as required.
This position has collaborative relationships with peers, staff and managers. There are no
direct reporting relationships to the PFF.

Decision-Making Authority:
The PFF will have some decision making authority on operational issues that arise in the
course of completing the required duties. This may include schedule adjustments from time
to time in consultation with nursing or the Practice Leader. The PFF has no direct authority
over operational activity within the Campus Wellness Programs including financial or
human resource decisions.

Physical and Sensory Demands:


The PFF position requires significant walking for the majority of the shift. There is
negligible computer work. The majority of the work involves direct interaction with staff
and students.  Fluency in a second language would be an asset.

Working Environment:    
Exposed to stress and pressure associated with operational responsibilities.  Involves
moderate psychological risk resulting from unavoidable exposure to hazardous,
disagreeable or uncomfortable environmental conditions. Early morning and evening work

Program Overview
Cross Business Structuring is part of the Office of the Chief Operating Officer of BMO
Capital Markets. Our Analysts / Associates provide business transformation solutions
through process re-engineering, automation robotics, and data analysis across the breadth
of BMO Capital Markets' lines of business.
We have an opportunity for a high-potential co-op placement to join a team of innovative

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can work well in a team based
environment. They must possess:
 
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or Master's degree program 
- Strong academic record (Dean's list or equivalent) and extracurricular achievement;  
- Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of financial markets; knowledge of data science
- General knowledge of financial strategy / accounting / economic / principles / analysis;
- Excellent research and analytical skills;
- Detail and results orientated;
- Strong work ethic;
- High level of integrity;
Required Skills: - Ability to attentively review, assess and provide detailed analysis daily on multiple
projects in an organized manner;
- Excellent capacity to independently function as part of a team through self -motivation;
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with data manipulation / Excel / spreadsheet skills including VBA are an asset
as well as strong quantitative/statistical background

Technical Skills:
- Software development experience (Python, VBA);
- Knowledge of Excel, including scripting and efficient spreadsheet design;
- Broad knowledge of quantitative finance at an advanced level;
- Strong technical writing ability
