Processing Questions:
1. What was the easiest/difficult statement to decide on? Why?

The easiest idea that I encounter is statement number 1. Arts courses in

college are a real deal. No matter how good you are in your craft, if you are not
financially stable, you’ll be in a huge problem. On the other hand, humanities
majors are well-known jobs, especially in our country. It’s very popular that most
college graduates seek to find other jobs because of low earnings and the
possibility of being employed. Meanwhile, the difficult one is statement number
10. In life, if you can’t make money, you will not survive.

2. What made you agree/disagree with the statements?

The topic is about the career base of a person. When it comes to this type
of idea, I always construct my answer based on reality. I did agree with the
statement if it values time, effort and if it is aligned based on how the world is
working. On the other, I disagree with the statements, If I think that it’s just a
waste of time and it's not worth sacrificing, just like statement number 5.

3. What or who influenced you in making a decision as to whether to agree or

disagree on the statements read?

One of the difficult situations in life is deciding between two things.

Whenever I get to decide between stuff, I always make myself calm first. There’s
this one anime manga, named Attack on Titan quoted “Do not decide if you are
happy or sad, decide when you are calm” As I grow up, I always remind that quote
to myself and it’s working for me. Emotions can ruin our decisions in life.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

Direction: It is time to reflect on what you have learned in this module by completing
the sentences below. Write your answer into 5 sentences only and use one whole sheet
of paper.

In this module, I learned that

When it comes to these career stuff, I always find myself struggling to decide on
things and I don’t have enough knowledge of the stuff that I must consider. In this
module, I learned the ten myths about career planning, it’s a huge help especially for
me who is having difficulty in this kind of possessions. I also learned the career concept
and several factors that may influence my career choice. It widens my knowledge and
directs me to the path that I want. I’ll surely use this knowledge to make the decision
better.

WHAT I CAN DO

JOURNAL: Answer the following question and write it on another sheet of paper.

As a senior high school student, give at least two factors that will greatly affect you in
choosing your career. Explain your answer in 5-7 sentences only.

Several factors will greatly affect our career choices. In my perspective, the two
main factors are, first, skills/abilities. In choosing a career, we often encounter trouble
in choosing what we want to pursue. However, knowing our skills and abilities somehow
may help us to consider different occupations that are fit our capabilities. Another is
interest and personality type; we often choose the one that we love doing. Working with
the things that are suited to our personality makes us comfortable and enjoy our
possessions. Choosing the stuff that is much related to us will influence our decision in
our career. It is important because it will lead us to a better and right path for our
future.
