Nokia Compact Mobility Unit

Release 21

The Nokia Compact Mobility Unit (CMU) delivers standards-compliant packet

core functionality in a compact form factor. The Nokia CMU serves as the
mobile packet core in both 4G/LTE and 5G private wireless networks for
enterprises and communications service providers (CSPs).

The CMU provides a comprehensive 3GPP packet • Scalability, with support for:
core network feature set by leveraging the same – 100,000 simultaneous attached users (SAU)
Cloud Mobile Gateway (CMG), Cloud Mobility
Manager (CMM) and authentication policy control – 250 eNodeBs/gNodeBs
(APC) software from the industry-leading Nokia – 30 Gb/s of combined uplink and downlink
Core solution, with its field-proven deployment throughput
in operator and enterprise networks globally.
