A selection of sleeve-fitting tools to suit a range of applications.
KP series
A design of sleeve expander, which is sm aller and lighter in weight than other designs and has com pact, nylon/carbon-fibre com posite handles and hardened
steel prongs. Very com pact. They suit sleeves as follows: KP1 1.2-2.3m m bore, prong length 23m m ; KP2 1.2-5.0m m bore, prong length 30m m ; KP3 3.0-10.0m m
bore, prong length 40m m .
KY series
Ultra-lightweight tools, with nylon/carbon-fibre com posite handles and hardened steel prongs. They have an adjustable ‘stop’ which can be set to prevent over-
expanding the sleeves. They suit sleeves as follows: KY1 1.2-2.3m m bore, prong length 23m m ; KY2 1.75-5.0m m bore, prong length 30m m ; KY3 3.0-10.0m m bore,
prong length 40m m ; KY4 10.0-17.0m m bore, prong length 56m m .
