In parallel with an objective to achieve low carbon city objectives in 2030, government has encourage (through MESTECC) any building
owner (Government & Private) to achieve an ideal BEI (Building Energy Intensity) by increase their usage efficiency
Increase usage efficiency level of building facilities are tend to prevent power loss in any electrical system besides reduces carbon emission
and heat to an environment
In commercial and industrial sectors, beyond lowering your facilities electricity bills and avoiding reactive power fees (PF), it can also reduces
power losses in transformers and electrical distribution equipment, besides the lifespan of any equipment such as cable, switch gear,
alternators and others.
NATIONAL
BEI LABELLING BUILDING ENERGY
INTENSITY (BEI)
Aims to encourage government staff to improve
the energy intensity of their buildings
Thus, we at BINA TENAGA ENERGY SDN BHD through our Power Factor Correction System ("PFCSTM) can help you in achieving this
WHAT WE DO
• Specialist in correcting Power Factor and optimising efficient power usage for commercial users to reduce their electricity overheads.
• We custom design, install, and calibrate the energy saving Power Factor Correction System (PFCSTM) products for commercial users,
covering exixting and new layouts.
• Bumiputra company, with over 15 years’ experience in our field and proud records of actual saving for our customers’ electricity bills
(average of 12% saving per mont).
• Our products are installed after the meter, in line with TNB’s requirements. TNB also encourages commercial users to maintain high
Power Factor index, and imposes penalty surcharge for low power factor (<0.85 / 0.90).
• The resulting savings will help businesses releasing their hard earned revenues that are unnecessarily trapped in avoidable overheads.
These extra profit can be used for expanding their business and provide more returns on their investments.
STEP 1: Power factor calculation analysis (based on KwH & KwH & KvarH data) from existing bills
STEP 3: Measurement of DB Ratings (Ampere & Voltage) to determine usage for each phase
