RESOLUTION NO. 160-2021
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FUND AUGMENTATION OF FIFTY
THOUSAND PESOS (P50, 000) FROM THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN OFFICE –
MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES (MOOE) TRAVELLING
EXPENSES IN ORDER TO BE MADE AVAILABLE TO AUGMENT THE TRAINING
EXPENSES WITHIN THE SAME OFFICE

WHEREAS, Section 336 of Republic Act 7160, otherwise known as the Local
Government Code provides, that the Local Chief Executive or the Presiding Officer of
the Sanggunian may be authorized to augment any item in the approved annual budget
for their respective offices within the same expense class;

WHEREAS, at present, allocations for training expenses is insufficient if not

exhausted to cover the obligations and expenses needed to pay for the trainings to be
instigated by the Office of the Sangguniang Bayan for the fourth quarter of CY 2021;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan has exhausted the budget allocation for its
training expenses on the first and up to the third quarters of this year but acquired
savings from Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) Travelling Expenses;

WHEREAS, such augmentation will be made useful and relevant as it is

necessary for the fulfilment of the basic function of the Sangguniang Bayan so that it
must be amended and appropriated to the stated purpose, as follows:

WHEREAS, that the Municipal Budget Office had certified that as per book of
accounts of the Local Government Unit of Plaridel–Sangguniang Bayan Office, the item
stated was found out to be free and available as source for augmentation;

WHEREAS, the 29th Sangguniang Bayan Council, after careful review and
scrutiny of the requirements provided for by law have had found out that the said
requirements, documentary support and other certifications have substantially complied
the requirements set forth under the existing laws, circulars and department orders;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SB Member Allan B. Laput, duly seconded by

SB Member Algelyn B. Paradiang with the favorable support of all the SB Members
present, it was –

RESOLVED as it is hereby RESOLVED to AUTHORIZE THE FUND

AUGMENTATION OF FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS (P50, 000) FROM THE SANGGUNIANG
BAYAN OFFICE – MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES (MOOE)
TRAVELLING EXPENSES IN ORDER TO BE MADE AVAILABLE TO AUGMENT THE
TRAINING EXPENSES WITHIN THE SAME OFFICE

RESOLVED FINALLY, that a copy of this resolution be furnished to all agencies

concerned for information and appropriate action.

UNANIMOUSLY ENACTED: DECEMBER 13, 2021.
