for oil and alkyd based Product.

Characteristics:- Mixed Drier SUN 144 has
proven to be an excellent replacement for drier
mixture containing Lead, and may be classed as
non-toxic “ Through “ and “ Surface “ drying are
obtained by causing the media to polymerize and
oxidize through to an insoluble hard film, in a short
period of time.
Applications:- Mixed Drier SUN 144 imparts
several desirable drying properties to oil paints and
varnishes combining fast polymerization and
oxidation. Mixed Drier SUN 144 may also be used
to enhance drying properties of formulation based
on conventional drier systems.
Mixed Drier SUN 144 has all the necessary
characteristic needed for a highly effective drier:
high activity at low dosage, excellent solubility and
compatibility.
Mixed Drier SUN 144 can be added at various
stages of production, dependent on the type of
product. The blend should, however, only be added
to paints after grinding, usually near the end of the

144 should be added at the lowest practical
temperature.
Mixed Drier SUN 144 used in moderation when
mixed thoroughly can obtain maximum catalytic
effect in a wide range of product with varying resin
/ oil systems.
Dosages:- The quantity of Mixed Drier SUN 144
to use ranges from 0.2% - 3% on solid resin or oil.
Due to the different drying behavior of alkyd
resins, the optimum quantity of drier should be
determined by laboratory evaluation.
Packaging:- Mixed Drier SUN 144 is packed in
MS/Plastic Barrels. Packaging Size 200kg
Storage:- Store away from oxidising agents
and foodstuffs.
