EMC VMAX Power-down/Power-up Procedure
This document describes how to perform the following procedures on a VMAX3™ Family array or a VMAX All Flash
array:
l Power-down the array.
l Power-up the array.
A VMAX array is designed to stay powered up in all situations. It is recommended to call the EMC Service Support
Center for assistance before performing a power-down procedure. If the array needs repair, only qualified EMC
personnel or partners familiar with the array and their safety procedures for electrical equipment should access
components inside the cabinet.
