Across the country, states have adopted a variety of approaches to address COVID-19 cases. While states continue to vaccinate individuals, they must also address rising cases and have a duty to treat and care for those who have contract the virus. We can not do this if we do not have necessary access to monoclonal antibodies. understand the need for states to receive equitable treatment in the distribution of monoclonal antibodies but injecting the federal government in the process can only slow it down and add an unnecessary level of bureaucracy in our time of need. We must remove this burden immediately! Furthermore, reports that the administration is restricting access to these therapies to encourage vaccination is completely unacceptable. Mr. President, many people have chosen to get vaceinated because itis the right decision for them. However, many have not because of their ‘own medical conditions or sincerely held beliefs, It is utterly shameful that the Administration ‘would withhold this revolutionary medicine from people because it does not fit your political narrative.
