Subject: Simplified guidelines for Travel from India to Sharjah & Ras Al Khaimah

For passengers travelling from India to Sharjah & Ras Al Khaimah:

Effective Monday 30th August 2021 Passengers holding UAE Resident and Tourist Visas
(i.e. employment visa, short stay/long stay visa, visit visa, residence visa newly issued…etc.,)
are allowed to travel to Sharjah & Ras Al Khaimah.

Travel requirement for all passengers for travelling from India to Sharjah &
Ras Al Khaimah:

1. Hold a pre-approval from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) or GDRFA
all type of visa holders.

 For UAE residence visa holders (issued from Dubai)

2. For UAE Resident/Tourist/E visa holders pre-registration is mandatory

3. Fully Vaccinated with one of the WHO approved COVID-19 Vaccines.

4. Provide Vaccination Certificate when departing from the origin destination.

5. Present a Valid Negative Covid-19 Test Certificate which will only be accepted from the
authorized labs that generate a QR code and taken within 48 hours prior to departure.

6. Rapid PCR test at the departure airport showing a negative result, 06 hours prior to
departure of flight for Sharjah and 04 hours prior to departure of flight for Ras Al Khaimah.
Rapid PCR Test should be based on Molecular Diagnostic Test done inside the airport of
departure prior to boarding.

8. Tracker device has now been exempted for passengers travelling to UAE via Ras Al Khaimah
International Airport except the passengers who are holding Abu Dhabi/Al Ain visa.
